For me, the secret is not having too much water. Your brush should be fully damp, but not dripping. Water is only the medium of delivery and too much can hamper control.

So no, no wc pencils (though I have tried them before). Just watercolor and a #2 or #6 W&N brush (or Silverbrush Black Velvet) to keep thing under control. Maybe some day I'll actually get around to making a tutorial video.Paolo Riverahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11088106827920011644noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8959702978311327862.post-68458132605154000262013-06-13T19:07:00.988-07:002013-06-13T19:07:00.988-07:00Ive been a long time fan of your work and your pro...Ive been a long time fan of your work and your profile commisions in particular. The vibrancy and smoothness of your watercolors are amazing(rather..Superior, eh eh?)

I have been kicking myself out of my comfort zone in art and teaching myself watercolors. I was wondering in you use watercolor soluable pencils for those neat and crisp washes ornis it all just paint and brush bc when I use the water colors, things tend to bleed out of the wanted lines regardless of tip or paper type.lol

Just something to ask.

Keep up the good work!
latenitedrawhttp://society6.com/latenitedrawnoreply@blogger.com
